A 40-year-old female with rheumatoid arthritis had been bedridden for 7 years due to pain and inability to walk from polyarthritis affecting both knees. An examination found a fixed flexion deformity of 70 degrees in both knees. After undergoing knee replacement surgery, x-ray images after 1 month, 4 months, and 16 months showed improvement, with the patient able to climb stairs 4 months post-op.
