The student government organization (SGO) at C.B. West high school has several purposes: to represent and unite the student body, give students a voice in school affairs, respond to student needs and interests, improve morale and school spirit, and facilitate communication between students and staff. The SGO has 6 committees and organizes annual events like powder puff football, a fundraiser for an elementary school in need, and a winter dance. It also recognizes staff and participates in leadership programs to develop responsible citizenship.
