This document outlines seven ages of technology in education, based on William Shakespeare's seven ages of man. The ages are: 1) Infant - technology is basic like typewriters and calculators; 2) Whining school-boy - objects to technology and copies homework; 3) Lover - is enthusiastic about technology for communication and entertainment; 4) Soldier - focuses on technology strategies and control; 5) Justice - evaluates technology use; 6) Pantaloon - retires old equipment; 7) Oblivion - either cries over missed chances or looks forward to new beginnings with technology.
