This document discusses how Christ has set us free from the law of sin and death through the law of the Spirit of life. It outlines two kinds of laws:
1) The law of sin and death, which we are under if we continue sinning and puts our lives in danger.
2) The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which has freed us from condemnation and the power of sin. Through Christ's love and grace, nothing can separate us from God.
It then provides seven keys to maintaining freedom: 1) Repentance in Christ, 2) Keeping eyes on Jesus, 3) Guarding our minds with God's word, 4) Tearing down idols
1) The document discusses Romans 8:1 and how there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2) It provides context from the preceding chapters in Romans about mankind's sinfulness and God's wrath, before concluding that through faith in Jesus, believers are no longer under condemnation.
3) The passage emphasizes that for Christians, there is assurance now that they will not face future judgment, but rather are secure in their salvation through Christ.

This document provides commentary on several passages from Romans and discusses the difference between being carnally minded versus spiritually minded. It notes that believers will still struggle with sin due to their sin nature, but they are not condemned because they are united with Christ. Unbelievers live according to their sinful nature and have their minds set on fulfilling fleshly desires, whereas believers desire to please God and have their minds set on spiritual things.
March 24 2019 - Sunday service message - LIVING IN THE SPIRIT - Mind of Chris...Catherine Lirio
The document discusses what it means to live in the Spirit according to scripture. It gives five points:
1. Living according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit rather than oneself.
2. Living according to spiritual words from God rather than worldly words of men.
3. Living by faith rather than by sight.
4. Living according to the pattern of God's kingdom rather than the pattern of the world.
5. Living according to the supernatural things of God rather than just natural things. The Spirit gives life and supernatural power to do greater works than Jesus.
The document discusses how Jesus endured the cross and suffered for our sins so that we could be justified by faith. It explains that through baptism believers die with Christ to their old sinful nature and are raised with him to new spiritual life. Believers used to be bound to obey the law of sin and death but now are freed to obey the law of the Spirit of life through Christ. The old husband, the flesh, is dead and believers are now married to their new husband Christ so they can bear spiritual fruit for God.
Christian freedom is not about what the government can give or take away, but what we have in Jesus. In Jesus we have not only forgiveness of sin, but have been given the power to not be dominated by that sin. We have been freed from sin to live freely for God.

This document contains a collection of Bible passages discussing righteousness and reigning in life through Jesus Christ. The key points are:
1) Believers are called to receive God's abundance of grace and gift of righteousness in order to reign over challenges. Grace frees us from sin and death's power. Righteousness is a gift of freedom from guilt through faith.
2) Receiving righteousness empowers believers to live boldly through inner peace, sharing the gospel, overcoming sin, and reflecting God's righteousness.
3) A 2024 declaration affirms the reader's righteousness through Jesus' blood, protecting them from evil and blessing their household, prayers, and future with no weapons prevailing against them
The passage discusses how through Christ, believers are no longer condemned but are made alive by the Spirit. It contrasts living according to the sinful nature with living according to the Spirit, saying that the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. It also speaks of how the Spirit empowers believers to put sinful deeds to death so that they may please God as His children.
Lesson 19 of 26 in a series of New Testament Vistas. This sermon on Romans 5-8 was presented May 6, 2012, at Palm Desert Church of Christ, by Dale Wells.
This document contains scripture passages from Romans 5:17-18 and commentary on reigning in life through Jesus Christ. The key points are:
1) Through Adam's sin, death reigned, but through Jesus, those who receive grace and righteousness will reign in life.
2) All face condemnation because of Adam's sin, but through Jesus's righteous act, all receive justification and the gift of life.
3) To reign in life, one must receive God's abundance of grace and gift of righteousness through Jesus. Righteousness is a gift not earned by works but received through faith in Jesus, who makes us righteous. By receiving grace and righteousness, one can reign over sin, darkness,
The document discusses how true believers must die to sin and self through baptism and crucifixion of the flesh, just as Christ died and was resurrected. It emphasizes that feeling and faith are distinct, and we must exercise faith in God's word rather than relying on feelings. True victory over sin comes through fully surrendering one's life and crucifying the flesh, allowing the Holy Spirit to work inwardly and manifest outwardly in conduct that witnesses to Christ.

1) Sanctification is a process of spiritual maturation that takes place over time through God's power, not our own efforts. It involves transforming all aspects of our being - spirit, soul, and body.
2) Holiness involves both separating ourselves from sin and dedicating ourselves to God. We are saved by grace, not works, but we are saved unto good works.
3) True holiness is a result of salvation, not a means of earning it. God demands an external witness of our internal holiness through good works.
This document discusses how through baptism and faith in Jesus Christ, believers die to their old sinful selves and are made alive as new creations. It explains that believers have been freed from sin and enslavement to the law so that they can now live holy lives empowered by God's grace and Spirit. The wages of sin is death but through Jesus believers can have eternal life.
our freedom from sin section c sub section 2 the conflict of two natures.pptx...sab21st
This document discusses the conflict between the old sinful nature and the new spiritual nature in believers. It explores how believers have been freed from sin and the law through faith in Jesus Christ. Key points include:
- Believers have died with Christ and have been freed from both sin and the law.
- Through faith in Christ's atoning death and resurrection, believers now walk in newness of life empowered by the Holy Spirit.
- The Spirit allows believers to mortify their sinful nature and live righteously under grace, not under law.
The document discusses the distinction between sins and sin based on passages from Romans and Galatians. It states that while God readily forgives sins or acts of disobedience, sin refers to our sinful nature which God cannot forgive. True salvation requires dying to sin and being born again of the Spirit so that the old sinful self is crucified and we live a new life in Christ. Feelings do not determine faith, which must be exercised through obedience to God's will.
1) All humans are inherently sinful and fall short of God's standards.
2) The consequences of sin are separation from God and eternal punishment. However, God loves humanity and sent his son Jesus to save them.
3) Salvation comes through repenting of sins, believing in Jesus, and accepting him as lord. This allows sinners to be reconciled with God and granted eternal life.
The document discusses how to be free from condemnation. It begins by referencing scripture from Romans 8:1 that says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. It then exposes six common lies of condemnation, such as thinking Jesus can't use you if you have weaknesses or that your past mistakes disqualify you. The rest of the document provides seven steps to be free from condemnation, such as distinguishing conviction from the devil versus God, setting your mind on what the Spirit desires, and living life on God's terms through pursuing intimacy with Him. It encourages living with joy as the serious work of heaven.
This document discusses the biblical concept of justification. It provides 7 observations about justification:
1. Justification is based solely on the blood of Jesus, not any righteousness within the person.
2. Justification means God declares a person righteous, rather than making them righteous.
3. Justification is complete - a person is either 100% justified or condemned, there is no grading on a scale.
4. Justification is more than a pardon since it requires the penalty of sin to be paid.
5. Justification has both a positive and negative element - sins are forgiven and righteousness is credited.
6. Justification occurs once for all time, not something that must be regained.
7
The document discusses the conflict between the flesh and spirit that Christians experience. It explains that the new birth deals with sins but we still need deliverance from our sinful nature. Romans 7 describes Paul's experience of this inner conflict. The components of the flesh are sin and self/the old man. No human effort can change the flesh, which is strongly inclined toward sin. God's purpose is to destroy the flesh. We died with Christ to sin through baptism, and can know, reckon, and yield to the truth that our old sinful nature was crucified, to experience victory over the flesh through faith in God's provision.
1) The document discusses passages from Romans 6 that address how grace abounds even more when sin increases. It notes that grace forgives all sins, overcomes the consequences of sin, and defeats death through eternal life in Jesus.
2) Through baptism, Christians die to sin like Jesus died to sin once and forever. This allows them to be raised as a new creation no longer ruled by sin but living for God.
3) While believers may still sin at times, God's grace is always sufficient. The document examines what it means to be "under grace" rather than "under law," and how obedience to God is expected of those who have received His gift of grace and salvation.
This document discusses living a life devoted to God through Jesus Christ rather than being devoted to sin. It notes that through faith in Jesus we have died to sin and been made alive in Him, and should therefore live our lives unto God rather than yielding to sin. It encourages yielding our bodies as instruments of righteousness to serve God rather than committing unrighteous acts or allowing sin to have power over us. The end result of living for God is holiness and eternal life, whereas living for sin leads to shame, death, and separation from God.
The document discusses what a person's identity is "in Christ". It provides several Bible verses that describe how through faith in Jesus, believers die to their old selves and are made new creations. Their lives are now hidden with Christ in God and they are united with Him in both death and resurrection. The old self has been crucified and believers now live by faith in Christ who lives in them. They have put off the old self and put on the new self created in God's likeness.

1.) Introduction
Our Movement is not new; it is the same as it was for Freedom, Justice, and Equality since we were labeled as slaves. However, this movement at its core must entail economics.
2.) Historical Context
This is the same movement because none of the previous movements, such as boycotts, were ever completed. For some, maybe, but for the most part, it’s just a place to keep your stable until you’re ready to assimilate them into your system. The rest of the crabs are left in the world’s worst parts, begging for scraps.
3.) Economic Empowerment
Our Movement aims to show that it is indeed possible for the less fortunate to establish their economic system. Everyone else – Caucasian, Asian, Mexican, Israeli, Jews, etc. – has their systems, and they all set up and usurp money from the less fortunate. So, the less fortunate buy from every one of them, yet none of them buy from the less fortunate. Moreover, the less fortunate really don’t have anything to sell.
4.) Collaboration with Organizations
Our Movement will demonstrate how organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Urban League, Black Lives Matter, and others can assist in creating a much more indestructible Black Wall Street.
5.) Vision for the Future
Our Movement will not settle for less than those who came before us and stopped before the rights were equal. The economy, jobs, healthcare, education, housing, incarceration – everything is unfair, and what isn’t is rigged for the less fortunate to fail, as evidenced in society.
6.) Call to Action
Our movement has started and implemented everything needed for the advancement of the economic system. There are positions for only those who understand the importance of this movement, as failure to address it will continue the degradation of the people deemed less fortunate.
No, this isn’t Noah’s Ark, nor am I a Prophet. I’m just a man who wrote a couple of books, created a magnificent website: http://www.thearkproject.llc, and who truly hopes to try and initiate a truly sustainable economic system for deprived people. We may not all have the same beliefs, but if our methods are tried, tested, and proven, we can come together and help others. My website: http://www.thearkproject.llc is very informative and considerably controversial. Please check it out, and if you are afraid, leave immediately; it’s no place for cowards. The last Prophet said: “Whoever among you sees an evil action, then let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then, with his heart – and that is the weakest of faith.” [Sahih Muslim] If we all, or even some of us, did this, there would be significant change. We are able to witness it on small and grand scales, for example, from climate control to business partnerships. I encourage, invite, and challenge you all to support me by visiting my website.

11June 2024. An online pre-engagement session was organized on Tuesday June 11 to introduce the Science Policy Lab approach and the main components of the conceptual framework.
About 40 experts from around the globe gathered online for a pre-engagement session, paving the way for the first SASi-SPi Science Policy Lab event scheduled for June 18-19, 2024 in Malmö. The session presented the objectives for the upcoming Science Policy Lab (S-PoL), which featured a role-playing game designed to simulate stakeholder interactions and policy interventions for food systems transitions. Participants called for the sharing of meeting materials and continued collaboration, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing towards sustainable agrifood systems.
Gamify it until you make it Improving Agile Development and Operations with ...Ben Linders
So many challenges, so little time. While we’re busy developing software and keeping it operational, we also need to sharpen the saw, but how? Gamification can be a way to look at how you’re doing and find out where to improve. It’s a great way to have everyone involved and get the best out of people.
In this presentation, Ben Linders will show how playing games with the DevOps coaching cards can help to explore your current development and deployment (DevOps) practices and decide as a team what to improve or experiment with.
The games that we play are based on an engagement model. Instead of imposing change, the games enable people to pull in ideas for change and apply those in a way that best suits their collective needs.
By playing games, you can learn from each other. Teams can use games, exercises, and coaching cards to discuss values, principles, and practices, and share their experiences and learnings.
Different game formats can be used to share experiences on DevOps principles and practices and explore how they can be applied effectively. This presentation provides an overview of playing formats and will inspire you to come up with your own formats.

Set You Free1.pptx
1. Topic : Set You Free
Scripture : Romans 7:18-21 (NIV)
18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that
is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is
good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good
I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep
on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no
longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21
So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil
is right there with me.
2. Two (2) Kinds of the Law
1. Law of Sin and Death
2. Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus
Romans 8:1-2
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ
Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives
life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
3. 1. Law of Sin and Death
We are under the law of sin if we still continue sinning.
Therefore, if we are still living under the sins, our life is in
danger we will put to death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
4. 1. Law of Sin and Death
In Romans Chapter 8, begins by declaring there is no longer
condemnation or judgement for those are in Christ.
- By His mercy and grace you have been saved, His grace was greater
than sins.
- His gift are free and abundant, the gift of eternal life.
5. 2. Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ
Jesus
For the law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law
of sin and death.
Romans 7:21-25
21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right
there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I
see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind
and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What
a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is
subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus
Christ our Lord!
6. 2. Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus
Romans 8:38-39
38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor
any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in
all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of
God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
On that verses concludes by confirming, in the strongest
terms possible, that believers and followers of Christ Jesus
can never be separated from God’s love.
=>Nothing can separate us from God’s love.
7. 2. Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus
Romans 6:14
14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are
not under the law, but under grace.
8. 2. Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus
John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth
will set you free.”
Makikilala ninyo ang katotohanan, at ang katotohanan
ang magpapalaya sa inyo.”
John 8:36
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
9. Seven (7) Keys to Freedom
1. Become death to sin through repentance in Christ
Jesus
2. Keep your eyes on Jesus
3. Guard your mind and heart with the word of God
4. Teardown the idols in your heart
5. Submit yourself to God and have someone keep
accountable
6. Yield to the prompting of the Holy Spirit
7. Walk in the Spirit
10. Seven (7) Keys to Freedom
1. Become death to sin through repentance in Christ
Jesus.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in
me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of
God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
11. Seven (7) Keys to Freedom
2. Keep your eyes on Jesus
Hebrews 12:1-2
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of
witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so
easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out
for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of
faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its
shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

2. Keep your eyes on Jesus
Hebrews 12:1-2
Buong
tiyaga tayong tumakbo sa takbuhing nasa ating harapan. 2 Ituon natin
ang ating paningin kay Jesus. Sa kanya nakasalalay ang ating
pananampalataya mula simula hanggang katapusan.
Diyos.

3. Guard your mind and heart with the Word of God
Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to
all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have good success.

4. Teardown the idols in your heart
1 John 2:15
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world,
love for the Father is not in them.
Colossians 3:5
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual
immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand
firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened
again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)

magpakatatag kayo at huwag nang paalipin pang
muli! (Galatians 5:1)
So if the Son sets you free, you will free indeed.
Amen…
