Session 8 Overcoming through Intercessory Prayer pptOs Hillman
This document discusses the concepts of authority, intercession, and identificational confession. It emphasizes that God has given authority and responsibility to mankind to fulfill His redemptive plan and enforce His covenants on Earth. Effective intercession requires identification, agony/travail, and exercising authority. Examples are given of biblical figures like Moses, Jesus and Joseph who powerfully interceded. Transformation of cities and regions starts with repentance, prayer, humility, unity and knowing God's ways.
God often uses adversity to prepare leaders for greater callings. Joseph experienced many hardships, including slavery and imprisonment, but each test strengthened his character and prepared him to save Egypt and his family from famine. Leaders like Moses, David, Paul and Martin Luther King Jr also faced difficulties that shaped them. Adversity teaches endurance, dependence on God, and compassion for others. While painful, circumstantial crises can initiate a process where God transforms a person into someone able to fulfill their destiny and influence many.

Examples from past Christian movements that used media are provided. The goal is to awaken, mobilize, and collaborate as one body through love, prayer, and acts of service.
The document outlines a vision for spiritual awakening and cultural transformation in America. It calls for Christians to unite across denominations and sectors of society to advance God's kingdom through prayer, cultural engagement, and solving problems in their communities. The goal is to awaken believers and see increasing numbers come to faith in Jesus Christ, which could spark nationwide revival and restore Judeo-Christian values that shaped America's founding. Media campaigns are presented as a potential catalyst to mobilize the church and spread the message of cultural influence to a wide audience.
This document tells the story of Pamela Hillman and her journey to find freedom through forgiveness. It describes the severe abuse she endured as a child, her struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, and her time spent in prison. While in prison, God spoke to her and told her to memorize scripture daily, which began her healing process. She learned to forgive those who had hurt her, as well as herself and God. Prison became her launching point to a new life, and she is now a counselor who helps others find freedom through forgiveness.
God sees work differently than is commonly understood. God views work as ministry and a way to fulfill one's calling and destiny. The local church should equip and train believers to see their work in this way and destroy the works of the devil in their spheres of influence. However, many churches fail to adequately train and commission believers for their work, instead focusing ministry only within the four walls of the church.
Receiving Your Inheritance webclass March 2, 2020Os Hillman
1) The document discusses 5 secrets to receiving an inheritance from God: understanding that believers can receive an inheritance based on their work on earth; that receiving inappropriately can cause one to lose their inheritance; the importance of understanding one's purpose to identify their inheritance; that inheritance is received through obedience rather than one's own efforts; and that Satan attacks where one's inheritance lies.
2) It notes ways believers can lose their inheritance, such as receiving inappropriately through sin, bad ethics, or disobedience. Receiving the wrong way through manipulating outcomes or using one's gifts in disobedience can also cause one to lose rewards.
3) Understanding one's God-given work life purpose is key
This document provides an overview of a talk on influencing culture from a Christian worldview. It discusses that Christians are called by God to shape culture, but that the church has at times lost influence by failing to equip believers to see their work and callings as ministry. It highlights challenges facing America's moral and spiritual foundations and provides examples throughout history of how engaged Christians influenced culture for good through acts like prayer, networking, addressing problems, and pursuing a strategy of engaging all sectors of society.

History of Fath@Work Movement - Os HillmanOs Hillman
The modern faith and work movement has grown significantly over the last 90 years. It began with a few small organizations in the 1930s and expanded to over 300 city-based workplace ministry networks by the 2010s. Several influential Christian leaders and numerous books, conferences, and training programs have contributed to the growth of the theology of work. While millions of Christians are in the workplace, the movement currently only reaches a small percentage. The future involves greater collaboration between workplace ministries and other delivery channels like the local church, education, and media to more fully reach Christians in the workplace.
10 Mistakes Business Owners Make (and how to avoid them).Os Hillman
This document summarizes the 10 biggest mistakes business leaders make and how Jesus avoided them. It discusses how Jesus understood his purpose and the purpose of his organization. He considered the cost to start and finish, avoided overdependence on debt, ensured his product solved problems, lived with integrity, maintained a balanced life, avoided Satan's traps of performance, passion, position and possessions, learned from adversities, was accountable, and built the right team. The document promotes a 6-month CEO roundtable program to help Christian business leaders apply these principles and operate their businesses from a kingdom perspective.
Session 9 Overcoming through Intercessory Prayer 7 m Culture Shapers MasterClassOs Hillman
This document provides an overview of a master class on overcoming through intercessory prayer and community transformation. Some key points:
1) Intercessory prayer is spiritual warfare against principalities and powers, as we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
2) Man plays a key role in fulfilling God's plan and will on earth, and God has given authority and responsibility to mankind through Jesus.
3) Effective intercession requires understanding our roles and responsibilities as both kings and priests, working in the inner court through spiritual warfare and the outer court through our public callings.
4) Transforming communities requires apostolic leadership, intercessors, and marketplace leaders working together in spiritual authority through prayer
Session 8 Arts and Entertainment 7M MasterClassOs Hillman
This document discusses the influence of arts, entertainment, and media in shaping culture and adopting values. It provides examples of both God moving in Hollywood through change agents, and the historical communist and corrupt influences. The summary discusses:
- Arts & entertainment most define cultural values and beliefs.
- God is raising up change agents in Hollywood, though it remains a difficult spiritual environment.
- Examples are given of notable figures using their platform to honor Christ, as well as corruption and scandals in the industry.
- The conclusion encourages praying for those working in media and entertainment.
Session 7 Media Mountain 7M Culture Shaping MasterClassOs Hillman
This document summarizes a masterclass session on the role of media in culture. It discusses how media controls culture and shapes views. It provides statistics on bias in 2016 election coverage and declining viewership of some networks. The document advocates for Christians to have a role in mainstream media and discusses how media is changing views on issues like morality, evolution, and marriage. It also draws parallels between the 2016 US election and biblical stories, labeling Donald Trump as similar to the prophet Jehu who destroyed evil rulers.
Session 6 Church Mountain 7M Culture Shaping MasterClassOs Hillman
This document provides an overview of a masterclass session on equipping the church in the workplace. It discusses defining the church as an assembly of believers called to operate 24/7 in the marketplace. It addresses common barriers like viewing work and ministry as sacred vs secular. The document outlines strategies for churches to train and validate believers' callings in their work, including establishing workplace ministry as part of the church's DNA rather than a separate program. It encourages equipping believers to apply their faith at work through prayer, sermons, and championing workplace ministry.
Session 5 Family Mountain 7M Culture Shaping MasterClassOs Hillman
This document discusses the breakdown of the family in society and its negative consequences. It notes that healthy families are crucial for a healthy society but that foundations are being destroyed as moral and religious guidance are removed. Consequences of family breakdown include increased rates of poverty, drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, crime, and abortion. The document advocates restoring fathers and two-parent families to improve society.
This document provides an overview of a masterclass session on reclaiming the education mountain for God. It discusses how the United States has removed God from public education over time, leading to a decline in morality. To reclaim the education mountain, individuals need to get involved in their local public schools through activities like developing Bible-based curriculum. Success would look like greater acceptance of biblical truths in education and an education system that addresses both the mind and spirit. The document encourages Christians to engage culture from a foundation of truth.
This document discusses the spiritual state of America and what individuals can do to positively impact the government. It provides historical context on America's Christian roots from founding fathers. It then analyzes where America is currently lacking spiritually and culturally. Finally, it offers suggestions for what success in spiritual renewal of the government would look like, including politicians leading with wisdom, truth and servant leadership rather than fear or polls. The goal is for America to operate on a foundation of righteousness and justice as according to its original Christian principles.
The document discusses the role of business and work in God's kingdom. It provides context on the history of business and how nations prospered through business that was consecrated to God. It discusses that God gives the ability to create wealth in order to establish His kingdom on Earth. The size and potential influence of believers in the workplace and business is reviewed, noting they currently only have about 1% of the total market share. The purpose and calling of business and work is presented as solving problems and meeting human needs while being a platform for societal transformation and influence for the kingdom of God.
This document provides an overview of a masterclass on influencing culture presented by Os Hillman. It discusses that culture is shaped by 7 key areas or "mountains" of influence including business, government, media, and others. It notes that culture is defined by a small number of elites who collaborate within these spheres. The masterclass teaches that Christians are called to influence culture through serving others and solving problems, not through domination, just as Jesus did. The goal is to present a strategy, not a theology, for impacting culture in a way that is consistent with the gospel of the kingdom.

Lição 12: João 15 a 17 – O Espírito Santo e a Oração Sacerdotal | 2° Trimestr...OmarBarrezueta1

Introduction
Mantra Yoga is an exact science. "Mananat trayate iti mantrah- by the Manana (constant thinking or recollection) of which one is protected or is released from the round of births and deaths, is Mantra." That is called Mantra by the meditation (Manana) on which the Jiva or the individual soul attains freedom from sin, enjoyment in heaven and final liberation, and by the aid of which it attains in full the fourfold fruit (Chaturvarga), i.e., Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. A Mantra is so called because it is achieved by the mental process.
Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison;
whatever they did there, it was his doing. The keeper of
the prison did not look into anything that was under
Joseph’s authority, because the LORD was with him; and
whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.

4 You may not have a Joseph Calling but you need to know the process for others you will minister to
God gave me a vision for men and women in the workplace, but first he had to remove the “Esau” from my life.
A Joseph Calling is a marketplace call – it is derived from the Biblical character of Joseph in the Old Testament who had a big dream but it seemed to die when he was thrown into a pit by his brothers, then sold into slavery and later thrown into prison for a crime he did not do. He felt he was abandoned not only by his brothers, but even by God. But there was a bigger picture unfolding in the life of Joseph that would ultimately lead him to be the second most powerful man in Egypt and the world. He would see the hand of God orchestrate a plan so amazing that it would lead him to say to his brothers, “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.”
Let me share a bit of my own story with you.

His “boot camp” took 13 years that required separation from his former life, having his will and ability to control anything taken away, a breaking of his will, a continued confrontation of his own crisis of belief that God was a loving God and that He was still in control of the events in his life.
