By service of the Absolute Truth, even for a few days, a devotee attains
firm and fixed intelligence in Me. Consequently he goes on to become
My associate in the transcendental world after giving up the present
deplorable material worlds.
PURPORT
Serving the Absolute Truth means rendering service unto the Absolute
Personality of Godhead under the direction of the bona fide spiritual
master, who is a transparent medium between the Lord and the
neophyte devotee. The neophyte devotee has no ability to approach the
Absolute Personality of Godhead by the strength of his present
imperfect material senses, and therefore under the direction of the
spiritual master he is trained in transcendental service of the Lord. And
by such training, even for some days, the neophyte devotee gets
intelligence in such transcendental service, which leads him ultimately to
get free from perpetual inhabitation in the material worlds and to be promoted to the
Need of Training
 Degeneration due to lack of education
& training.
 Training gives faith-“One cannot understand
Kåñëa by mental speculation. For one who does
not take personal training under the guidance
of a bona fide spiritual master, it is impossible
to even begin to understand Kåñëa. Then one
can achieve faith in the Supreme” BG 17.28
 Every one of us born ignorant, and we
require specific education and training
for seeing things as they are. ( lecture to
MIT students, boston 5th

Without aim, what is the use of practice?
If you have no goal…there is
example: “Man without
any aim is ship without any
rudder.”
So suppose if…airplane is
going with an aim to land in
some country, but if he goes
on simply without any aim,
then there will be disaster ..So
without aim, what is the use
of practice?
That is foolishness. Without
goal, practising is foolishness.”

So our Kåñëa consciousness
movement is trying to educate
people to understand the value
of life, the value of spiritual life
especially, Dharmän bhägavatän
iha. So, by understanding
spiritual life, by understanding
one's actual constitutional
position, he may be enlightened,
what is the aim of life, what is
the duty of life, what is the
purpose of life. That is Kåñëa
consciousness movement.
