• Kaushal opened up this session with a fantastic session on what Sales Enablement
means to the buyers.
• Kaushal asked the audience what Sales Enablement (a loosely thrown term according to
Kaushal) means to us?
• Answers ranged from Collaboration to Content Assets to Technology
• Kaushal then opened up to explain that his 12-14 member team selling technology isn’t
the only the team that needs enablement but all the allied functions need to be enabled in
order for Sales Enablement to succeed.
• KEY MESSAGE – The purpose of Sales Enablement is to WIN BUSINESS by enabling
Sales, Tech, Leadership & Partners to sell across Large Accounts, Medium Value
Accounts and Low Value Accounts
• KEY TAKEAWAY – Explain Adult Learning to buyers of Sales Enablement by explaining
the 25 year olds who will be using the Sales Enablement Tools learn differently and that
Technology is the Bridge!

• Kingshuk’s short session was informative and thought provoking.
• Kingshuk mooted the idea that books have moved beyond the bookshelf & one must not
limit themselves to the traditional hard copies!
• Alternatives – Blinklist, YouTube Book Summaries, Audible for Audio Books etc.
• Coming back to the topic of the session, Kingshuk distributed 2 books he wanted to
recommend – a. Crossing the Chasm by Geoffrey Moore and b. Inside the Tornado by
Geoffrey Moore
• The most interesting Part of the session was Kingshuk drawing The Technology Product
Lifecycle shown below (Bigger Picture in the next slide)

Sales where we split the audience into 2 teams!
• Session ended with both teams tied on 50 points and going
back home happy!

• We are trying to get a Venue Partner onboard for SES
Bangalore and are also thinking if corporates/organisations
would be interested in hosting the meeting
• Next Meeting will focus on:
• Enabling your Sales team to win:
• Large deals
• Mid-size deals
• Small & high volume deals
• Sales Enablement in a start-up environment
