One of the greatest roadblocks to submission is overcoming your own “common sense”. Mary never expresses concern over her reputation or fear for her life, though it’s hard to imagine that these concerns did not go through her mind. Her response to Gabriel is “How will this be?” Mary demonstrates remarkable openness to the wonders of the incarnation.
Reborn Ministries is a parachurch ministry based out of Thonotosassa, FL. We partner with Pastors and ministry leaders, focusing on evangelism, helping them to draw people to their churches where the new converts can be discipled.
Although the ministry is still in its infancy stage, we have collectively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of people, not just in Florida but nationally and even globally through our ministering and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the international cities we have ministered in.
In training and equipping believers to share their faith, we are continuously experimenting, developing and implementing radical out-of-the-box methods of evangelism in real time by regularly partnering with front line event-oriented ministries.
We are looking forward to seeing and experiencing everything that Holy Spirit is going to do in us and through us in the upcoming years God continues to light up our paths and bless us along our journey.
Train, equip and mobilize the up-and-coming generations in real–time training situations how to live submitted and empowered lives so they can effectively share the Gospel outside the church walls to push back the darkness as we expand the kingdom of God.
Series – the ghos ts of christmas past – part 4 sorrows - sunday 12-20-15LifePointe Church
This is Part 4 of Pastor Chuck Bernal’s 2015 Christmas message series titled, “The GHOSTs Of Christmas Past”. “GHOSTs” is an acronym for: GUILT, HOPELESSNESS, OFFENSE, SORROWS, THREATS. This message discussed the differences between JOY and HAPPINESS and how we can have real JOY because of Christmas - even when we face problems in life. The main point of the message is contained in this statement: JOY IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF PROBLEMS AND PAIN BUT THE PRESENCE OF GOD’S PEACE AND POWER IN OUR LIVES! This message was delivered on Sunday, December 20, 2015.

Pope Francis in the fifth year of his papacy publishes his third apostolic exhortation, titled Gaudete et Exsultate which means ‘Rejoice and be Glad’. The subject of document is “the call to holiness in today’s world.” The pontiff launches a plain, fundamental message, showing that what matters, what is the essential to Christian life is to ‘seek and find God in all things.’

In "A Christmas Story" a young boy named Ralphie wants nothing more in the world than a Red Ryder 200 shot range model air rifle for Christmas. When he finally mentions it to his mother, she responds with the famous line, "You'll shoot your eye out!" Is that how you feel God responds when you ask for things? Have you reached the point where you don't even want to ask because you just don't think he's there or will really respond? This sermon looks at Matthew 7:7-11 and dives into how we are to understand God's willingness to give us what we ask for.

A Song upon Alamoth. Which may denote that the music was to be pitched high for the treble or soprano voices of the Hebrew virgins. They went forth in their dances to sing the praises of David when he smote the Philistine, it was meet that they should make merry and be glad when the
victories of Jehovah became their theme. We need to praise God upon virgin hearts, with souls chaste towards his fear, with lively and exalted expressions, and happy strains. Or the word Alamoth may refer to shrill sounding instruments, as in 1 Chronicles 15:20 , where we read that
Zechariah, and Eliab, and Benaiah were to praise the Lord "with psalteries on Alamoth."

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men
4. And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men
5. How do we understand the hope of
Christmas in a world where hate is
strong & mocks the song of peace on
earth, good will to men?
6. It’s one of the most famous
songs of Christianity. It’s
been whispered in
monasteries, chanted in
cathedrals, recited in small
remote churches by
evening candlelight, and
set to music with trumpet
and kettledrums by Johann
Sebastian Bach.
7. …It’s the gospel before the
gospel, a fierce bright
shout of triumph thirty
weeks before Bethlehem,
thirty years before Calvary
and Easter….
8. It’s all about God, and it’s
all about revolution. And
it’s all because of Jesus—
Jesus who’s only just been
conceived, not yet born,
but…who has made Mary
giddy with excitement and
hope and triumph.
9. Far As The Curse Is Found
Human Suffering & The Hope of Christmas
“The End of Christmas”
~ The Gospel of Luke 1:46-55~
10. 46 And Mary said, “My soul magnifies
The Gospel of Luke 1:46-55
the Lord, 47 and my spirit rejoices in God
my Saviour, 48 for he has looked on the
humble estate of his servant. For behold,
from now on all generations will call me
blessed; 49 for he who is mighty has done
great things for me, and holy is his name.
11. 50 And his mercy is for those who fear
The Gospel of Luke 1:46-55
him, from generation to generation.
12. To magnify something is
to make something large in
your sight; to make something
weighty and significant
in your life.
The Magnificat
13. Mary…like so many Jews
of [her] time, searched the
Scriptures, soaked
[herself] in the psalms and
prophetic writings which
spoke of mercy, hope,
fulfilment, reversal,
revolution, victory over
evil, and of God coming to
the rescue at last.
14. 51 He has shown strength with his arm;
The Gospel of Luke 1:46-55
he has scattered the proud in the thoughts
of their hearts; 52 he has brought down
the mighty from their thrones and exalted
those of humble estate….
15. 53 …he has filled the hungry with good
The Gospel of Luke 1:46-55
things, and the rich he has sent away
empty. 54 He has helped his servant
Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as
he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and
to his offspring forever.
16. “…and a sword will
pierce though your
own soul also…”
~ The prophetic words of Simeon
in the Gospel of Luke 2:35
21. Then rang the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not death nor doth he sleep.
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men.”
22. On this side of eternity,
Christmas is still a
promise…. Every
Christmas is still a
“turning of the page” until
Jesus returns. Every
December 25 marks
another year that draws
us closer to the fulfillment
of the ages, that draws
us closer home.
~ Joni Eareckson Tada
“A Christmas Longing”
23. When we realize that
Jesus is the answer to our
deepest longing, even
Christmas longings, each
Advent brings us closer to
his glorious return to
earth. When we see him
as he is, King of kings
and Lord of lords, that will
be “Christmas” indeed!
