“Recently one of the prominent computer sciences academics from Australian
National University (ANU), Prof. Peter Christen visited us as a part of his visit
to Sri Lankan Universities. He has met students from various Faculties of
Engineering and Sciences from University of Peradeniya, University of
Moratuwa, and University of Colombo. However, he had some time to see FIT
students and their academic achievements. Very next day I heard that, Senuri
was offered a postgraduate sponsorship to do further studies at ANU even
without any consideration of her completion of the final semester. I am highly
proud to see that international academics like prof. Peter is totally impressed on
Senuri’s academic performances based on his conversations with me.”
