• Describe it, using all of your sense, wherever
possible
• If you can’t remember all of the details, start
with what is clear, and fill-in the rest with your
imagination

1) Pick your place in nature
2) Brainstorm 10 strong images (minimum)
a. What do you feel?
b. What do you see?
c. What do you smell?
d. ….
3) Based on your images, develop a metaphor, a
simile, and an example of personification
4) Create your poem by using one image per line,
and whatever punctuation you see fit.
