10. Objektif Mata Pelajaran
- To enable students to complete the research work./ literature search as agreed
upon prior to the beginning of the semester and produce a scientifically
written document in the form a thesis or dissertation.
11. Hasil Pembelajaran
Upon completion of this module the student will have acquired:
1. Skills required of an undergraduate in the area of research/ dissertation
preparation
2. Knowledge of research methodology especially those of clinical research
3. Experience of carrying out a small clinical research study/ extensive literature
survey in order to disprove a set hypothesis in clinical optometry
4. Skills and ability to write a thesis / dissertation that embodies the result of the
research / survey work with its associated discussion and conclusion.

- This module is a continuation of the previous module BMA research &
Dissertation I , where students continue with their project work, either in the
form of an experimental project or an extensive literature review on a topic of
interest , the former is to be presented as a research thesis while the latter as a
dissertation .Research these or dissertations submitted are subjected to formal
examination by the faculty member that include respective supervisors and
another member of staff not directly involved in the work.
