Upon completion of this module the student will have acquired:
1. Necessary skills to independently analyses and fabricate optical prescriptions
written out in the Primary Care Clinics
2. Knowledge , skills and attitude for dispensing all forms of optical aids to
patients both within optometric and hospital settings.

- This module requires students to be engaged in the practice of dispensing of
prescriptions (ie: patients oriented) as well as in the fabrication (workshop
based) of prescriptions written during the primary care clinical sessions
,without supervision , Weekly sessions encompass workshop practice and
delivery of the final optical appliance to the patient in the dispensary with
both activities being carried out without supervision
