I am self taught. I love the learn that way, because self teaching gives you a space, an attitude which helps you through out the life. . It allows you to explore more, do more, fail more and learn more but at the same time it takes time, some important time which could have been used somewhere else really productive. . But in the end it depends on individual interests. It doesn't matter whether you are self taught or formally trained, what actually matters is the work you do and the efforts you put into the work. That's it.
