Holy Choices - Introduction to Ignatian Decision-MakinigBill Faris
Bill Faris guides us into the fundamental concepts and practices of discerning God's plans and making decisions as informed by the teaching of Ignatius Loyola.
Knowledge makes people arrogant. This concept seems to be completely different from the world’s thinking. If I learn more, then I should know the breadth of knowledge. I should be like a learned person, and I should be more humble. But why the Bible said so, if this is a truth that violates the rules of the world. In this chapter, let us carefully look for the truth of the Bible for detail analysis.

This sermon is part two of a three-week mini series on prayer from A Deep Life series. We live is a noisy world filled with hundreds of voices screaming at us every second of our mediated lives. How can we discern which voice is God's voice? This sermon explores three practical steps to do just that.
A verse by verse commentary on Habakkuk 2 dealing with God's answer to Habakkuk that he should write down what God says about the future and just wait for it in faith. Then comes a series of woes.
God approves of the man who is pure in heart. Men such as David and Jesus remind us that this means we are to be utterly sincere and wholly true to our God. Our prayer, like David, is that He would unite our hearts to fear Him.
Taking care of your soul. A transformation of our conscience, reason, imagination, mind, emotions, choice and will is absolutely necessary to be aligned with the renewed Spirit that is already in us. In order to attain this, the Holy Spirit needs to be in control, bringing a complete renewal.
Psalms link the blessed life to those who walk in God’s ways after meditating on His word. Blessed is the person who delights in and meditates on the law or instruction of the Lord.
Are you looking for your Calling/Purpose/Niche in life?
Do you think you need to serve others better?
Do you wonder if there is a God and if so, what does that mean exactly?
Rekindling sets out to walk with you as you answer those questions.
We are a Bible-based, Christ-loving educational non-profit that sets out to rekindle people\'s passions for God, for everyone else in the world and for their own life.

The three persons involved in the act of prophesying. God, the giver of the word. The person receiving from God to transmit the word. The final receiver.

This prayer model is from the book "The Hour That Changes the World". The author presents 12 sections of prayer that if practiced for 5 minutes each would accumulate an hour of prayer a day for the development of a habit of prayer. Eventually, once the habit is developed, a more intimate, personal prayer devotion can be created. Very useful for those who want to know how to pray.

Nowadays society pays more and more attention to utilitarianism. What everyone thinks is the benefits. Even for the immediate benefits, you can deny your parents, or even violate the law and discipline, and you can do things without any sense of morality. The reason is that the way of God in this world you can hardly see its influence. In this chapter, I want to make a careful analysis based on the status what God values. I hope everyone can live in God’s will.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
