5. Investment is the commitment of funds for a period of time
with the expectation of receiving more than the current
outlay. The returns could be in the form of annual income
and/or appreciation in price.
Saving is a process of setting aside a portion of current
income for future use, or the flow of resources
accumulated in this way over a given period of time.
