This document provides instructions for creating and managing different types of volumes in disk management: 1) How to create a spanned volume using minimum 2 disks by selecting the spanned checkbox and allocating space across disks. 2) How to create a mirrored volume by selecting the mirrored checkbox, adding available disks, and assigning space. 3) How to remove or break a mirror by right clicking the mirrored volume and selecting the appropriate option, with breaking the mirror leaving independent simple volumes. 4) How to create a simple volume by selecting unallocated space and choosing the simple volume type. 5) How to create a striped volume using minimum 2 dynamic disks by selecting the striped checkbox and alloc

4. 8) How To Remove / Break Mirror Right click on mirrored volume Click on break mirror volume DONE Please Note REMOVE MIRROR If you remove mirror, 1 volume will be deleted and the other will become simple volume. BREAK MIRROR If you break a mirror the logical relationship will be back and both volumes will become simple volumes. Mirroring is stopped and data will be as it is.
