SECTION 4, 9 Section 4 – Any person can give information to the P.O about incident of DV; and no liability will be incurred to that person for giving the information in good faith. Section 9 - The Protection Officer will make a DIR to the Magistrate and forward copies to police in charge of the police station; ensure that legal aid is provided to the aggrieved person; maintain a list of all service providers; make available safe shelter home; get the aggrieved person medically examined; and ensure that order under monetary relief is complied and executed.

  • 1. SECTION 4, 9 Section 4 – Any person can give information to the P.O about incident of DV; and no liability will be incurred to that person for giving the information in good faith. Section 9 - The Protection Officer will make a DIR to the Magistrate and forward copies to police in charge of the police station; ensure that legal aid is provided to the aggrieved person; maintain a list of all service providers; make available safe shelter home; get the aggrieved person medically examined; and ensure that order under monetary relief is complied and executed.
