This document discusses films chosen for a moodboard to research armor and costumes. The films discussed are Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, Troy, Braveheart, and Robin Hood (2010). Each film is mentioned because of the specific types of armor worn by characters that could provide inspiration for character design. Links to images of armor from the films are included.

This film I have chosen
because of the lore
behind the characters
as it is taken from the
J.R.R Tolkien “Lord of
The Rings” I have
chosen this film for it’s
consistent amount of
amours.

4. GLADIATOR
I chosen this film
because of the roman
themed armour types
which I wanted to use
help create
characters wearing
different armours and
weapons that roman
soldiers would wear.

5. TROY
Another similar to the

“Gladiators” the
characters within this
film are mostly wearing
roman armour so
thought It would a good
idea to look through
this film to collect
some research for

6. BRAVEHEART
In this following film I
chosen it goes back to
the medieval armours
and characters that I
will mainly focus on
when creating my
character art, so it
would be beneficial to
me to look at each
character and see how
that would to my

7. ROBIN HOOD (2010)
In the last film I chosen
for research because of
its abundance of medieval
characters using weapons
and wearing armour that
look believable and that
you would actually see a
person wear this, this
would help create
characters wearing
