A group of 5 students from Muthumalai Amman Govt Sec School decided to teach students with mental retardation. Their goals were to teach the students to write their names, do paintings, identify images, and tell time by looking at a clock. Over multiple sessions at the school and learning center, the students worked with the mentally retarded students on these skills through activities like storytelling, painting, and practicing writing their names.
