The data at Salt Creek, consistent with
research results ..., demonstrate that
building a strong foundation in Spanish will
result in higher levels of proficiency in
English. We certainly see a trend toward
this achievement with the students at Salt
Creek, with highly significant correlations
across the languages in both reading and
math.

  • 36. The data at Salt Creek, consistent with research results ..., demonstrate that building a strong foundation in Spanish will result in higher levels of proficiency in English. We certainly see a trend toward this achievement with the students at Salt Creek, with highly significant correlations across the languages in both reading and math. -Katherine Lindholm-Leary
