You have 20 points effort points capacity per sprint
You start with 10 Features

Don’t give more points then agreed upon

Determine series of numbers (1, 2, 4, 8, 16 , 32, 64)
Choose 3 reference stories (preferably a 4, 16 and 64
point story)
Base the estimation of all other stories by relating to
the reference story
T-shirt sizes
Split the User story’s into groups (e.g. 100, 80, 60, 40,
20 of Sky scraper, Flat, House, Bungalow)
Split the User stories from the largest 2 groups to
Small, Medium and Large
Split the Small in S, M and L
Split the Medium in S, M and L
And split the Large in S, M and L
The Large – Large will be done first
The Large – Medium thereafter
Value based on goal
For example:
1 – Kees existing customers happy
2 – Make existing customers enthusiast
3 – Increase turnover for existing customers
5 – Get new customers
8 – Deliver something that is agreed upon with a customer
13 – Fits the strategy of the company
21 – Required for Law and regulations

Business Value Game Rules We run a undetermined number of sprints You have 20 points effort points capacity per sprint You start with 10 Features At the end of sprint 2 you need at least 20 points buffer (user stories turned) Refinement Costs Turn a feature: 2 points Turn a story: 0,5 points Maintain Sprint Business Value delivered on Score Board Gather discussion points on the discussion board

  • 19. Points Agree upon amount of points to be given (e.g. 1.000.000) Give points to every User story Don’t give more points then agreed upon
  • 20. Poker Determine series of numbers (1, 2, 4, 8, 16 , 32, 64) Choose 3 reference stories (preferably a 4, 16 and 64 point story) Base the estimation of all other stories by relating to the reference story
  • 21. T-shirt sizes Split the User story’s into groups (e.g. 100, 80, 60, 40, 20 of Sky scraper, Flat, House, Bungalow) Split the User stories from the largest 2 groups to Small, Medium and Large Split the Small in S, M and L Split the Medium in S, M and L And split the Large in S, M and L The Large – Large will be done first The Large – Medium thereafter

Value based on goal For example: 1 – Kees existing customers happy 2 – Make existing customers enthusiast 3 – Increase turnover for existing customers 5 – Get new customers 8 – Deliver something that is agreed upon with a customer 13 – Fits the strategy of the company 21 – Required for Law and regulations ??
