Does whatever it takes to make the Scrum
Team successful, such as removing
organizational impediments, facilitating
meetings, acting as a gatekeeper so no
one unnecessary interrupts the team's
work.
Facilitate Meetings
• Pre-planning
• Standup
• Review
• Retrospective
• Planning
Facilitate Daily Standup meeting
• What they were able to get done
since the last meeting?
• What they are planning to finish by
the next meeting?
• Any blocks or impediments that are
in their way?
Facilitate pre-planning “Refinement”
• Detailed requirements analysis.
• Splitting large items into smaller
ones.
• Estimation of new items.
• Re-estimation of existing items.
Includes
Facilitate pre-planning “Refinement”
• Refinement activity is not for items
selected for the current Sprint; it is
for items for the future, most likely in
the next one or two Sprints.
Facilitate Retrospective
• What should we keep Doing? (went well)
• What should we stop Doing? (didn’t go well)
• What should we start Doing? (suggestions)
• Action Items, assigned to team members.
Facilitate Sprint Planning
• Product owner and Team discuss the
goals and context for the high-
priority items on the Product
Backlog, providing the Team with
insight into the Product Owner’s
thinking.
Part One
Facilitate Sprint Planning
• The Product Owner and Team also
review the “Definition of Done” that
all items must meet, to ensure
transparency and quality fit for the
purpose of the product and
organization.
Now, (always busy) Product Owner may leave although they must be
available (for example, by phone) during the rest of the meeting. However,
they are welcome to attend Part Two
Part One
Facilitate Sprint Planning
• Detailed task planning for how to
implement the tasks, starting at the
top of the Product Backlog ( the items
that are the highest priority for the
Product Owner) and working down the
list in order.
Part Two
Facilitate Sprint Review
• The most important element of the
Review is an in-depth conversation and
collaboration between the Team and
Product Owner to learn the situation, to
get advice, and so forth.
Daily activities
• Team answers in Standup meeting
may result in Re-planning and
further discussions immediately
after the Daily Scrum.
• Check tasks, burndown chart
whether we are on track or not?
• Meet Scrum of scrums/ Teal Lead in
order to update him with team status,
or send summery report.
• Check if any needed follow ups,
dependencies, meetings, designs….

  • 9. Facilitate Sprint Planning • Product owner and Team discuss the goals and context for the high- priority items on the Product Backlog, providing the Team with insight into the Product Owner’s thinking. Part One

Facilitate Sprint Planning • The Product Owner and Team also review the “Definition of Done” that all items must meet, to ensure transparency and quality fit for the purpose of the product and organization. Now, (always busy) Product Owner may leave although they must be available (for example, by phone) during the rest of the meeting. However, they are welcome to attend Part Two Part One
  • 11. Facilitate Sprint Planning • Detailed task planning for how to implement the tasks, starting at the top of the Product Backlog ( the items that are the highest priority for the Product Owner) and working down the list in order. Part Two
  • 12. Facilitate Sprint Review • The most important element of the Review is an in-depth conversation and collaboration between the Team and Product Owner to learn the situation, to get advice, and so forth.
  • 13. Daily activities • Team answers in Standup meeting may result in Re-planning and further discussions immediately after the Daily Scrum. • Check tasks, burndown chart whether we are on track or not?
  • 14. • Meet Scrum of scrums/ Teal Lead in order to update him with team status, or send summery report. • Check if any needed follow ups, dependencies, meetings, designs…. Daily activities
