Here in Lentera Ide, script writer will mostly do
the editing task.

4. The Script
• Basically we follow the template set by PPIA
for Lingkar Ide, with modification.
• Four segments are set: opening (personal
information), research area, other activities,
closing (summary, testimonial).
• Word count is required to maintain the video
duration (8 mins long)  ±700 words.

9. Editing
• The script must follow Indonesian grammar
(EYD).
• Consistency.
• Cutting what’s what and what’s not.
• Two-way communication with POI to avoid
deleting essential points.

10. Shooting
• Prepare the script (hard-copy, in big letters; or
using electronic media, such as iPad)
• ‘Script-holder’
• Advise POI on reading speed
• Make correction (if necessary)

script is FINAL)
