/ Synopsis
We meet “Bruno” who has spent years slowly crossing off a bucket list
that he made in his early life. A conversation takes place that informs us
of most of the items that have been completed so far ( visual examples
wind through the different bucket list items at the same time as the
conversation). We find out the penultimate bucket list item and leave off
to go and complete it, we follow along the process with Bruno as he
completes his second to last bucket list item with Caroline his long time
friend right with him. After completing we see Bruno tick it off the
bucket list leaving him just one, but then Caroline says that she has to
leave for America for a great new job opportunity. This leaves Bruno in a
predicament as he has completed all of his bucket list with Caroline and
with her gone it puts the whole completion of the bucket list in jeopardy.
We then find out that the last thing left on the bucket list needs Caroline.
We then gain some backstory on Caroline and find out that she is a
journalist who has travelled to America to report on a problem in
America. After a few months away Caroline is let go on the reporting in
America because of the story breaking down and coming to an end.
Caroline flies back without Bruno knowing because she wants to plan a
surprise to sort out Bruno's final bucket list item, but Bruno ends up
bumping into Caroline in the high street and Caroline has to lie to say she
has only just got back and was planning on meeting up with Bruno after
she had caught up with family. Bruno is told to travel to a destination
that Caroline has sent to him, Bruno becomes suspicious about what is
happening but goes ahead and travels to the location. Bruno and
Caroline Complete the final bucket list item and both agree that the love
they desired was just floating around the corner from them. At the end
of the film we see Caroline and Bruno cross the final bucket list item off
the list.
