Chick flick pitch
The students wanted to make a chick flick film for their class project that would be interesting yet approachable. They propose a plot where the main character falls in love with another girl after moving to a new town. This would challenge conventions by having a same-sex relationship as the central storyline. The film aims to still be relatable to a wide audience like traditional chick flicks through humor and addressing how love can be experienced across different sexualities and genders.
Shooting Schedule
The filming timetable outlines 3 scenes to be filmed on the 2nd of March 2014. The first scene will introduce the stalker and be filmed at Brodies Café in Bromley using an iPhone 4 and coffee props. The second scene will show the stalking commencing on Bromley High Street and surrounding roads. The third scene will take place on Southlands Road and involve a white car to imply somebody is watching.
Pitch opening sequence
The document proposes a plot for an opening thriller sequence. The plot involves a man waking up and seeing a mysterious figure outside his window. He then hears voices and his phone acts strangely. Script
A stalker is waiting in a cafe for his victim to walk by, as he has done many times before. He speaks to his partner on the phone, assured that his routine will play out again. When the victim does pass by, he abruptly ends the call and follows her. The scene then switches to an undercover police car that spots the woman being stalked.
