Bullying is a widespread problem, with 46% of children experiencing it at some point in school. Bullying can take many forms from teasing and rumors to physical harm, and often targets people due to their race, religion, appearance, sexual orientation, disability, or home life. To address bullying, the solutions proposed are for victims to tell a trusted adult and get away from the situation; for bystanders to intervene by telling the bully to stop and getting an adult; for parents to listen and support their children and work with the school; and for schools and communities to train all members, start anti-bullying clubs led by youth, and create a respectful environment for people of all identities.
