The presentation summarized a project where students created murals in the school's music practice rooms. The theme of the murals was "music brings us together." First, the students cleared out the practice rooms so they could paint the murals on the walls. They then drew designs directly on the walls incorporating musical elements. Videos show the different groups working to complete their murals. In the end, the murals reflected the theme of bringing people together through music.

Sathma: Hello and welcome to our presentation, first of all I would like to thank you for coming to
our presentation and we hope you will have a great time
Marie: I am Marie Hughes this is Kharta Ahmed, Rajan Handa and Logan Jones
Rajan: The theme for our murals was music brings us together we created these in the music
practise rooms and before creating them we had to reaches into different murals
Logan: The reason we chose to createthe murals in the music practise rooms is because we wanted
to inspire the students who use the practise rooms
Khatra: some of you might be asking what a mural is, a mural is like painting only it is on a wall or a
celling and it is a great way of presenting creative arts

Marie:Thousands of years ago murals were very popular and the people in those times they didn’t
have paint so they had to use different coloured pigments to great the murals
Sathma: Murals are still very popular in the 21stcentre
Logan:In 1066 Feudalism continue to develop, since there was little unity or regional boundaries
outside of the large cities
Khatra: Feudalism was a dominant social system in medieval Europe,it dominated Europe from the
ninth century to the fifteenth century

Rajan: This is one mural that has recently come to light in Tuscany has been identified by a British
university lecturer as the earliest surviving representation of witchcraft in Christian Europe (read the
points)
Sathma:A book published in Italy by George Ferzoco (director of the centre for Tuscan studies at the
University of Leicester) argues that at least two of the women in the erotic wall painting are
sorceresses.
Kharta: These are a few pictures of traditional and non-traditional murals (point and explain which is
which)
Logan: As you can see the traditional murals look very plan and quite imaginative for example they
might include some angles, they use to be quite religious based

2. Marie: Whereas non-traditional murals are very bold and out there. Now because we are in the 21st
century we can use different types of technique’s to make the murals stand out for example by using
spray pain and acrylic paint etc
Kharta: These are pictures of all of us and our different roles

Rajan: These are a few of the idea’s some of the levels 1/2 created (who was in which group)
Sathma: This really fitted in with our theme music bring us together because we included some
musical aspects such as music notes and musical aspects
Khatra: This is a video the level 1 and 2 clearing out the music practise rooms, we had to do this
because we didn’t want to damage any of the equipment while we were creating the murals
Marie: These are some images of all of us painting the walls after we cleared out all of the practice
rooms
Logan: These are a few images of us starting to draw our murals onto the wall, this was quite hard
because the walls were not completely smooth, but we had to keep focused and try d our best to
draw it on the walls
