Donna Zhang is a Chinese artist born in 1956 who studied art from age 13 and obtained her Master's degree in Arts from Saitama University in Japan in 1990. In 1999 she accompanied an environmental group to Tibet and painted a series of portraits of Tibetan people to document their lives, which she displayed in a PowerPoint presentation.
