- 2. The Department of Media Relations will act as the official source of contact for all communications regarding SoCal Racing. The only exception is the President/CEO, Allison Carney, or anyone fulfilling that position in her absence.
- 3. Only authorized individuals may publicly speak on behalf of SRC. Employees who share confidential information may risk disciplinary action or termination.
- 4. All employees and contracted workers of the SRC may only make statements to the media on matters related to the SRC or LA Marathon if they have been explicitly authorized to do so by the Media Relations Office or the President of the organization.
- 5. If contacted directly by a journalist please refer them to the Media Relations Office. The director of Media Relations is the organizational spokesperson for the media.
- 6. All media is required to contact the Media Relations Office to request and arrange for an interview ahead of time.
- 7. All Press releases are written by or subject to the approval of the Media Relations Office.
- 8. Any inquiry, positive or negative, should be passed along to the Media Relations Department for escalation.
