3. Contemporary psychology incorporates many approaches and fields of study, from cognitive neuroscience exploring brain activity during mental processes, to various subfields like developmental psychology, social psychology, and clinical psychology.

After spending years as an agnostic, David has regained an appreciation for Christianity, as well as other religions of the world and, accordingly, he felt inspired to revive the ancient non-denominational order of the Children of the Law of One. He has been happily married for over 50 years and he has four sons, thirteen grandchildren, and he has lived in The Woodlands, Texas for the past 38 years.
