Research pertaining to green diesel produced from various vegetable oils was conducted. Using computer
software,reactions were simulated on a kinetic basis to calculate cetane number and cloud point for
perspective green diesel options to produce an index of such values.
Studied Energy Abroad, The GREEN Program,Iceland Jan 2014
Spent a week studying geothermal energy, wind turbines, and hydroelectric facilities at the University of
Reykjavik in Iceland through the GREEN Program. This week included tours of various facilities.
Maintenance,Saint Margaret Parish,Bel Air, MD June 2013 – August 2014
Performed generalmaintenance such as taking out trash, painting, and fixing light fixtures. Gained
experience working in a variety of situations and through this, learned to adapt to accomplish whatever
the job required. Learned to be self-motivated when left alone for much of the work day with a set of
tasks to complete.
