This document outlines the daily procedures and schedule for students at Devon Middle School. It provides instructions for homeroom, switching classes, nutrition breaks, lunch, noon activities, and dismissal. Students are expected to be on time, move between classes in an orderly fashion, eat lunch at assigned times in designated areas, and listen for announcements regarding noon activities. Lockers are to be used to store and retrieve materials between classes and before leaving for the day.

3. Homeroom 8:15 – 8:30The bell which signals the start of homeroom rings at 8:15.Go to yourlocker to getready for the first twoperiods.AgendaALL materialneeded for classPromptly go have a sit in classIf you are late, youneed to check-in at the office. Bring the slip to me whenyou are ready.

4. Switching ClassesWhenyourteacherdismissesyou, take all yourbelongings, push your chair in and go line up in the hall outside of yournext class.Whenenteringmy class, ALWAYS line up quietlyoutsidemydoor (flat against the lockers).

5. Nutrition Break10:10 – 10:20Go to yourlocker to getyourmaterial for yournexttwo classes.Go to the washroom (if necessary).Go to yourperiod 3 class.

6. Lunch12:00 – 12:20Go getyour lunch.Sitat a desk to eatyour lunch.Whenyou are dismissed by a teacher (not at the bell), youmayget up to go to outside/balcony.

7. NoonActivities12:20 – 1:00You will have options to go outside, to the balcony or to the gym.Listencarefully to the announcements for info.From 12:30 to 1:00 you must staywhereveryou chose to be. NO MOVING AROUND FROM ACTIVITY TO ACTIVITY!

8. Homeroom 1:00 – 1:05When you hear the bell make your way to your homeroom.Getyourmaterials for the last twoperiods.Come in class and have a seat.

9. End of day and buses2:40 – 2:50Go to yourlocker to getyourbookbag/homework.Come back in to class and have a seatat a desk.Put your chair on a desk beforeleaving.Alwaysleave by the grade 6 doors (end of grade 6 hall - by computer lab).
