The student enjoys their school day, particularly their English Language Arts (ELA) class where they love writing stories and learning new words. They also look forward to recess breaks throughout the day to play with friends and get exercise. Lunch is another favorite time to socialize with classmates while eating a meal packed by their mother. Physical Education (Phys. Ed.) class allows the student to burn off energy and have fun playing sports with peers. Finally, the student is eager for home time at the end of the day when they board the bus for the 30 minute ride back home.

1. School

2. ELA ELA is one of my favorite classes. I know I could spend forever writing a story of my ideas. I love learning new words with a cool sound. This one time, I had a spelling word; the word was dismal. I learned what it meant, and now it’s my favorite word. ELA is my favorite.

3. Recess Recess happens three times a day. I get to play games, run around and loosen up my muscles. Besides being fun, it gives me a break from all my classes. Recess is the best!

4. Lunch Time I love lunch. I love it, because I get to talk to my friends while eating. Eating lunch is so filling. Another reason I love lunch is because I don’t have to pack it; my mom does. Lunch is awesome!

5. Phys. Ed. My favorite class is Phys. Ed.. Phys. Ed. is where I release all my negative energy. Phys. Ed. helps me get in shape, play with my friends and have fun. Phys. Ed., I love it!

6. Home Time Home time must be my favorite part of the day. I pack up my things and put on my shoes. I go on the bus, it takes me about 30 minutes to get home. I guess that’s why they call it home time.
