2. The purpose of this experiment We did this experiment to find out how long it takes for a scent to travel across a room and which parts it travels to first.
3. What we did First, we sprayed some deodorant into the lid of the tin and then we spread out across the room and waited, we would put our hands up when we smelt it.
4. Here the particles are getting out of the tin and starting to spread out across the room.

7. Prediction I thought that the scent would reach the person in the corner first only after 2 minutes and then it will reach the person in the middle after 5 minutes and then three minutes later it will reach the person at the end.
9. How the particles moved When the particles moved the air conditioner was pushing them forward, forcing the scent to move across to the person that was near the wall and then the hot particles rose and sloped with the roof, sending them towards the person in the corner and finally, following the direction of the air conditioner it was pushed towards the person at the edge of the room, thus finishing the experiment. Also, as the particles were moving, they started to spread out, causing the scent to get weaker as it crossed the room.
