This document describes a new technology for mobile fracture detection using sound analysis that could diagnose fractures anywhere without x-rays. It would use a smartphone app and microphone to analyze sounds transmitted through bones to detect fractures in a fast, accurate, and inexpensive way compared to current methods. The technology is supported by research and aims to eventually be developed into both a medical device service and consumer app to reduce healthcare costs and risks while expanding into new markets and applications.
