“The Eureka Lake supply has taste and odor problems.”
-Bethel water supply plan 2006
Eureka Lake is a reservoir that supplies
thousands of Bethel, Connecticut residents
with millions of gallons of water each week.
Connecticut state law – “Any person who causes
or allows any pollutant or harmful substance to
enter any such public water supply reservoir shall
be fined not more than five hundred dollars or
imprisoned.”

Eureka Lake can be restored to its true
glory. Let’s pick up after ourselves and seek
justice for those who don’t.
According to the Natural Resources Defense
Council, dirty water is the world's biggest
health risk.
