SAS ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR
(Calgary, AB) The Board of Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary (SAS) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Theresa Jenkins as Executive Director, effective September 12, 2016 and would like to thank
the former Executive Director, Linda Wyatt, for her service.
“It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that the Board welcomes Theresa Jenkins to the role of Executive
Director,” said Vice-President Tess Jones. “Theresa has been a valued member of the SAS staff for over five
years and we are confident that the dedication and compassion that she has demonstrated thus far will
continue in her new role.”
Jenkins came to SAS as the Development Manager with extensive experience as a business leader with
proven executive management skills in the areas of revenue and profit growth, stakeholder relationships, and
team leadership. “I joined SAS because I believe deeply in serving the needs of sexually exploited women
and their children,” said Jenkins. “Today, I am more convinced than ever of the importance of SAS to the
community of Calgary. I have learned so much from the leadership of Linda Wyatt. The need that lies ahead
for SAS is enormous, and I am deeply humbled and honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead SAS
in this new capacity. The success of our Participants is what drives me every day.”
Linda Wyatt, who held the position from November 2015 on an interim basis as the Board navigated a period
of significant change for SAS, provided strategic direction and leadership, and reorganized SAS
programming and staffing to help strengthen SAS during these hard economic times.
“The Board is grateful to Linda Wyatt for stepping in as interim Executive Director for the past ten months,”
said Jones. “Linda provided excellent leadership to the team at SAS during a period of difficult transitions.
2. Thanks Linda, for your dedication and hard work.”
