revenue (Rs.732 Cr) in the preceding 9 years (2005-2014)
The Revenue of TMC has catapulted to ~2229 Crores in FY17-
18, an increase of 93% in 4 years which is higher than the
cumulative increase of 66% over the previous 5 year period
(FY09-FY14)

• Metro Line 4 from Wadala to Kasarvadavali will be
32.32 km with 32 stations.
• It shall provide interconnectivity among the existing
Eastern Express Roadway, Central Railway, Mono
Rail, the ongoing Metro Line 2B (D N Nagar to
Mandale), and the proposed Metro Line 5 (Thane to
Kalyan), Metro Line 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to
Vikhroli) & Metro Line 8 (Wadala to General Post
Office).
• It shall reduce the current travel time by anything
between 50% and 75% depending on road

 The widening of the will add two lanes on each side,
making it a seamless eight-lane bridge at Kopri.
 Phase 1 of the project will be the actual construction
of the four lanes, parallel to the existing rail-over-

 A subway will be built near Dnyansadhana college to
ease the traffic congestion
 In Phase 2 the newly constructed four lanes will be
open for traffic and the MMRDA will demolish the

separated from the sewage treated daily, which

 TMC can save Rs 15 lakh in electricity bills. This
will also ensure zero wastage of resources at the
sewage treatment plant.
