General Course Structure 4 Credit Hours Weekly Schedule: 3 Days normal class activities, readings, writing assignments, etc. Fourth day devoted to Writing Lab All class sections meet in Computer Classroom
General Course  Structure Teaching: Instructors and Professors interested will attend training seminar  Teaching Assistants will serve in the Lab Sessions held on Fridays TA ’ s  serve in a structured,  “ mentored ”  position.
The Writing Lab  “ The core tension I identify resides in the potential conflict between having writing centers be the one place on campus where we do remediation head-on, and current writing center philosophy, which encourages us to focus primarily on  ‘ higher-order ’  concerns. ” - Heather M.
