Sample of programme proposal
This document is a proposal for a vigil and induction event organized by Kumpulan Latihan Kelanasiswa Malaysia IIUM Kuantan Campus. The 2-day event will be held at Taman Rekreasi Air Balok on October 26-27, 2013 to welcome new members, enhance brotherhood, and conduct a vigil ceremony to qualify members as rover scouts. The event aims to train leaders and include activities like camping, prayers, campfire, competitions, and ceremonies. A budget of RM2985 is estimated to cover costs of transport, supplies, catering, certificates and souvenirs. Support is sought from various parties to help ensure the success of the event.

- 2. 1.0 INTRODUCTION In thename of Allah, the Most Benevolent, Most Merciful. Praise is to Him, the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, the King and Ruler of Mankind and peace be upon His Seal of the Prophets, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, our greatly respected sahabah and to the Believers. Living in the current climate of changing and challenging world would need a suitable social-mechanism to be apprehended by a community. In a university environment and diverse life styles, the high demand of work and studies explicate the needs of the implementation of a fundamental life element which is having excellent interpersonal and social skills. These elements are often neglected by students as students tend to concentrate more on academic rather than interpersonal skills. Therefore, this programme will provide a new groundbreaking experiment in discovering and improving skills for students enabling them to have a balance both thus, avoiding them turning into human machines, which merely oriented to examination. Moreover, this programme also provides the opportunities to the all members to experience the joyfulness of outdoor activities and at the same time enabling them to communicate well which can further curtail the gap and strengthening our ukhuwwah. This event may seem like any ordinary event but we have our own aims and goals in the quest of reaching the hearts of the members. We plan to conduct a programme that focuses on gathering the members of Kumpulan Kumpulan Latihan Kelanasiswa Malaysia IIUM Kuantan Campus or KLKM IIUM Kuantan especially our new recruited members to introduce and welcoming them to our organization that aimed to develop leadership, cooperation, self-skill, entrepreneurship, good values and ethics to the new recruited members, in which these skills are expected to be inculcated among the members. This programme consists of two courses which are induction and vigil courses. Induction course is an excellent conduit to help the members to grow as individuals that are confident, proactive, organized and capable to become a good leader. Whereas, for vigil course, members are required to accomplish some basic Rover Scouts skills before they are rewarded with vigil and officially become the KLKM members.
