Water/wastewater attendant
 Assisting plant operators in the operation and
completion of their daily duties at our water and
wastewater facilitiesand our Distribution team.
 Being a part of the on-call and weekend duties
roster.
 Kangaroo valley wastewater treatment plant:
conducting daily maintenance, testing and
calibration of equipment. Reacting to call outs
relating to E-one failures and conducting pump
changes.
 Kangaroo valley (micro-membrane filtration)
water treatment plant: conducting daily testing
and calibration of equipment. Undertaking jar
testing to monitor plant efficiency and chemical
dosage.
 Flatrock (conventional) water treatment plant:
Undertaking plant and ground maintenance.
Taking water samplesand plant inspections.
Refilling desired chemicals when levels are low
i.e. Poly and Fluoride. Calculating dosages and
chemical usage.
 Bamarang (conventional) water treatment plant:
Conducting daily log sheets and testing.
Calibration of testing equipment i.e. pH,
fluoride, chlorine and turbidity analysers. Data
log entry. Making plant adjustmentsaccording
