successful one. He understands that the main purpose of his all
efforts is to get into the productive gear and be a profitable
proposition for the organization for which he is working.

anxious. Stress can be positive (e.g. preparing for a wedding) or
negative (e.g. dealing with a natural disaster). Learning healthy
ways to cope and getting the right care and support can help reduce
stressful feelings and symptoms. In Sales, the stress is normally
associated with the numbers not getting achieved or in terms of the
targets not being achieved by the salesperson in a stipulated period.

Therefore, for any stressful Salesperson, he should immediately
take certain easing off-exercises and certain very simple steps so

your body and mind. Relax Your Muscles. When you’re stressed,

For a Sales Person who can prove himself and due to some initial
hiccups and resorting himself into the excuse mode-has expressed
the stressful mood at times -I would very strongly recommend him
to go for a new start without any baggage of the past failures. He
should remember the following valuable words: — “The secret of
getting ahead is getting started”.
Also, he should ponder deeply on the following: — “Take risks. If
you win, you’ll be happy; if you lose, you’ll be wise”. But never give
in so easily and allow others to tag you as the stressful salesperson

salesperson should always remember that-”The difference between
try and triumph is just a little “umph”!” So why not try it out and be
in the category of “triumph -Salespersons”.

communicate, and possess empathy / are extrovert. If you have all
those traits, then you can start selling/making yourself buyable for
what you offer. Sale is craftsmanship.

indomitable willpower. Decide to throw your whole heart and soul
into your success and into achieving your sales career goal. Make a
complete commitment to improve your sales career and become one
of the most highly-paid salespeople.
14. Self Control On Stress.
I would like to briefly mention for the senior managers to know that
if we have a very weak sales team and we need to put in the real
mettle into the same-we need to be firm ourselves first in parting
the various ways of conviction and motivation into them. The
following easiest ways to be followed- would fetch some upliftment
into these weaker sections of sales teams: -
Build trust with the people in your team.
15. Ask your direct reports on how they like to be managed.
Understand your direct reports’ personal and professional goals.
Make sure they’re covering the basics.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Figure out where the issue lies.
Even after trying to improve upon their weaknesses if we see that
there could not be any improvement in some of them-then I would
simply say that for such people- “Sales is not their cup of tea”.
Before keeping them any longer in the stream of sales -we must tell
them the following: -
“Change before you have to”.
16. Still, if they don’t realize & change- tell them simply to change their
career-stream. Naturally, Stress will be out of their mind as a matter
of logic-but mind you, they will no longer be called “Successful
Salespersons”.
