producing 2065 million pairs of different categories of footwear. India's
footwear industry is the world’s second largest producer after China.

standard across the brands.

from their own physical stores, but there is dearth of platforms selling

• Shoes segment must be presented in a fashion that customers find it easier to navigate through the online
platform .
• It will be easier if this vertical will have several horizontals like presented on the basis of Category, Size, price
range and Material used.
• Since Overcart.com is not the only re-commerce portal selling Shoes , add an option of comparison in terms of
price/warranty/offerings .
• Add an option of ratings and reviews to make sure the product is received in right conditions to the customer.

Strategy for new customer involvement
-----------------------------------------------------
AWARENESS
People are reluctant of buying Shoes as a re-commerce
option as they are less aware about their conditions.
We can focus on the age group of 16-35 years as they
want to try new things, remain stylish but at low costs.
Partner with YouTube channels to create awareness about
the product through fun filled educational videos.
Transparency and
warrantee Policy
No Hidden charges/selling cost.
Free shipment pickup from most of the locations in
India.
Provide Risk free Assurance similar to GreenDust and
warrantee for 4 months.
Sensational Campaigns/Drives
Create campaigns that showcase that
company is not only working in profit making
environment but also for creating value in the
market.
eg.- Create a campaign… “Overcart Shoes for
worthy” … where Shoes are sourced from
end consumers and are repaired and given to
the NGO’s working for disabled people and
poor children.
#Giving back can be interesting

Art of scaling up
-----------------------
01
Refurbished shoe event
Tie-up or sponsor various big sports
events like marathon to showcase
the product and have the feel of
them to the participants.
04
Refurbish your shoe
We restore shoes close to their original appearance.
We remove soles, heels and comfort systems, then
place your shoes on the original lasts to ensure
proper fit after restoration.
03
Professional Certification
To build trust among the customer and to
get more clients in terms of retailers it is
imperative to provide certain certification
mark on the shoes for warranty purpose
as well as building loyalty of brand among
the customers.
M-commerce
Sponsoring local
sports events
Re-build it to
NEW
02 Go with the Wind
Indian ecommerce industry is veering
towards m-commerce. Build a tracking
and feature adding system where
customers can click an image of their
shoe and can get its estimated value. If
they want they can send it to a particular
warehouse for refurbishment.
Incentives to shop online
----------------------------------
REFER A FRIEND
For each purchase receive 200
points .
Order with the app
For each purchase receive 350 points
and some coupons (we can have tie up
with free-charge) .
Have your first order treat
For the first order made by the
customer provide some points into
his wallet or accessory free.
Each point will be stored in Overcart Wallet. Rs. 2, is the value of each point & can be redeemed from the Overcart whenever
User is buying next time.
Create options for different occasions
----------------------------------
For being a successful player in this segment, Overcart needs to be aggressive in terms of offerings. And the art of
scaling up is to diversify our platform in brands, styles and occasions of shoes.
Wedding Specials
Full Formal
Trekking
Make use of buying
barometer which will be
showcasing the buying preferences
of the user on the basis of ratings
and reviews.

-----------------------------------------------------
• These ‘Wear & Fun stores’ would be set up over 500 to 1,000
square feet and will launch in cities including Chandigarh,
Lucknow,Gurgaon,Jaipur,Vadodra,Indore,Nagpur,Nasic,Mysore,
Kanpur, Vishakhapatnam, Faridabad, Kalyan, Navi Mumbai etc.
• Open Exclusive stores in Tier-2 & tie-3 cities where there is high
aspirational demand for branded shoes but due to their price
people can’t afford that.
• These stores will showcase famous brands and will mostly contain
refurbished or extra stock/surplus, will mainly be running gain
trust of the customers and to inculcate tangible feel of the product.
 They will also acting as collection house, where customers having branded shoes can get a price for selling their shoes which are
not older than a year.
Wear & Fun
Stores
Showcase our
refurbished products
Gain people trust and
will act as Return house
Will also work as a warehouse to
get Shoe supplies from End-
customers.
Aggressive Local Retailer Collaboration
-----------------------------------------------------
Overcart
• For building offline sales channel it is imperative to have a collaboration
with local retailers not only in tier1 cities but also in tie2 and tier3 cities.
• One of the best way is to sell the extra stock and refurbished stock through
these shop outlets with a small guarantee or professional certification
from Overcart inside it.
• Since we will be only selling branded products these shoes will be less
expensive as compare to the fresh arrivals from the company and shop
outlets will find it easy to find customers for such refurbished products as
compare to branded fresh products.
• This will open our business to the end customer
and will increase our potentiality in terms of
expansion of our business.
Offline tie-ups
-------------------
01 Tie ups with Govt. schools
Form agreement with Bata, liberty and action shoes to
provide refurbished shoes which can be sold in a tie-up
with several government schools at low price then
what is available in the market.
This sector provides huge potentiality to grow as well
innovate in terms of price and quality quotient.
Fashion Industry
02
Indian Bollywood and fashion industry is highly dependent on the
latest trends and designs in the fashion world.
Several international brands including Pavers England, Clarks,
Crocs, Skechers, Aldo,Crocs and Charles & Keith offer premium
products, providing a brand new refurbished fashion specific
series and tie-ups with several production and fashion houses can
increase the sales.
Both leasing and selling models can be used for this purpose.
Large Chain Stores03
One of the best way to reach the end customers is to make our
product interact with them. And for that we need direct
presence in the stores where people prefer to buy their retail
materials.
Tie up with large retail chains like lifestyle, metro shoes,
Shoppers stop etc.
Add a separate “Overcart-Punah” segment to these stores
where they can display and sell our refurbished products.
04 Military Association
Military boots are one of the major requirements for
the inventory of Indian Army. We can have tie ups with
them in providing refurbished Military boots .
It is one of the major hidden segment which has high
potential .
