Like any other organization, they need continuous monitoring and ensuring that all departments are working smoothly to ensure efficiency. The supervisors should make sure that the workers in the criminal justice system work under manageable environments so that they will be able to deliver quality services to the people (Jacobson, Heard, & Fair, 2017). The prisons also need to be in conjunction with the stakeholders to make sure that processes run smoothly. In this paper, I will focus on the internal and external stakeholders and the influence that the stakeholders have on the prisons department. Also, I will discuss specific solutions on the improvement of the prisons system and how I will motivate individuals also to accept the answers I have proposed. Identify the Internal and External Stakeholders. While talking about the criminal justice system, some people are affected by the system in specific ways called the Stakeholders. The stakeholders are categorized into internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders are the people inside the criminal justice system itself while external stakeholders are the people that are served by the criminal justice system or affected in any way. Internal stakeholders include the police responsible for arresting offenders, probation officers, and parole officers. They also comprise judges who run the courts, correctional officers, and people who work in the court. The internal stakeholders are people responsible for law enforcement and interpretation. Also, the people convicted are part of the criminal justice system. External stakeholders comprise elected officials, the media, and certain groups responsible for serving the crime victims. The families of the crime victims, schools, and the community at large are also part of external stakeholders. The media becomes a part of the stakeholders while they report crime victims, and when they conduct investigations on specific crimes that need more profound insights. to them by the prosecutors, and they decide whether to put a
person in jail or not. The external stakeholders help the internal
stakeholders by cooperating with them to answer questions
about offenders or the crimes committed. The media can also
help police officers to catch criminals while they conduct
investigative journalism.
How will you consider stakeholders in your solution to the
problem?
While offering my solutions, I would consider improving the
relationship between the administrative staff, the healthcare
staff, security staff, and the inmates in the organization. I would
aim to come up with a system that is adequately coordinated
systems where all these groups of people work together to
achieve effectiveness in the criminal justice system.
Administrative staff like the police, the judges and the workers
should coordinate with the families, and the outside world to
ensure proper running of the criminal justice system (Osabiya,
2015). The healthcare staff should provide adequate care to the
inmates to ensure that their health is in perfect condition. The
security staff should also make sure that they provide sufficient
consideration to the prison population and make sure that they
coordinate the activities of the prison population.
How will you motivate individuals to buy into your solution?
I would motivate individuals by educating them on the
importance of a functioning system. I will also make sure that
the workers have all the basic needs that they need, like proper
housing and enough food while they are working. Also, people
working in the system should be in an environment with no
stress because stress is a great demotivate. Stress may also lead
to alcoholism, which leads to low productivity in the workplace.
The workers who perform in the prisons should receive
recognition for the work they have done and got awards which
motivate them to work even better (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart, &
Wright, 2017). They should also receive proper remuneration
for the job done and enough facilities to help them with their

4. work. I will also encourage the individuals to be self-motivated
by looking at their strengths and weaknesses and maximizing on
what makes them better individuals. The people also have to
work on their attitudes while they work to facilitate proper
delivery of work. I will also encourage the workers to make
sure that they are in good shape health-wise, and they exercise
regularly to ensure that they are fit of the job.
Conclusion
In conclusion, any organization needs thorough coordination for
all the activities to go smoothly. The external stakeholders need
to coordinate with the internal stakeholders to make sure the
department runs effectively. The workers need to be
continuously motivated to deliver effective results, to ensure
proper health, to address appropriate concerns and to make sure
that organizations achieve their objective of making sure that
offenders have been reformed and are new members in the
society.
