This document outlines 10 rules of engagement for open communication and teamwork. 1. 1. Engage in open, honest , direct and ongoing conversat ion anywhere,
anyt ime, any forum. (don’t say it in the hall if you won’t say it at the table)
2. Encourage and engage in professional debat e on t he st rategic issues and,
once a decision is made, support it.
3. Disagreeing is not being disloyal. Disagree without being disagreeable by
focusing in t he issue instead of t he individual.
4. Respect and t rust the capabilities, intentions, and performance of ot hers.
5. Be owners of our company by underst anding and working across business
unit s/functions for t he success of t he t otal company.
6. Lead by example with ethics and integrity.
7. Courageously provide open, mut ual support . Strive for t eam excellence by
pulling t ogether for our success.
8. Needing help is not a sign of weakness. Make it easy t o ask for help without
fear if embarrassment.
9. Be visible and engage with people. Share recognit ion for a job well done
and celebrat e success.
10.Engage in const ruct ive feedback and encourage st raight talk on bot h
personal and organizational performance.
