2. To fulfill the rule of use, be
economical. This means
economizing on presentation
time in order to provide
maximum practice time. With
grammar, a little can go a
long way.

3. Comprehensible input
that can be understood by
listeners.

4. Providing comprehensible
input and more time for
language practice help
students acquire language
naturally, rather than learn it
consciously.

5. Teachers should be able to
strategize how to present
grammar rules efficiently and
effectively, then provide more
time for students to apply these
rules in communicative tasks.

6. REMEMBER:
I order to obey Rule 2 (The Rule of
Use) be economical. Minimize
presentation and direct explanation
time, in order to provide maximum
practice time. With grammar, a little
can go a long way.

7. In the Rule of Economy,
we can apply this
through presenting
grammar in adequate
time. Where, there are
less instructions but
more on information.

8. If you give too many
instructions the information
can be more confusing,
than if you just give it a
clear and simple
instructions. Be economical
with the classroom time
and with your words.
