This rubric evaluates students on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and fluency in a language assessment. For each category, the rubric provides descriptors to assess performance as needing improvement, satisfactory, good, or excellent. Students can earn between 2-8 points in each category, with a minimum total score of 19 points equivalent to a 4.0 grade and a maximum score of 32 points equivalent to a 7.0 grade. Observations may also be included.
