This document announces two upcoming events. The first is a series of talks called "/etc/games" about gaming happening on Wednesdays in October. The second is a weekend challenge to build a mobile or web application around a commercial case from Friday night to Sunday evening, with teams pitching their ideas and outputs. Details are provided on what each event involves, who they are aimed at, and potential benefits of participating.
