The Cherokee and Creek tribes had differences and similarities in their clothing, food, and housing. The Cherokee lived in log and mud huts and wore clothes made of animal skins, while Creek men wore breechcloths and leggings and their homes were made of wood or grass. Both tribes ate corn, deer, wild turkey, and fish. The men of both tribes hunted and fought, while the women farmed, took care of the land, and their families.
