This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. Up there in the fresh mountain, happily covered in green broom, a dark little girl dressed in white looks like a little cloud lost in the forest, that whirls, that runs, that comes back, that passes, that turns around, and quiet, calm, stops. Or wrapped up, she looks at herself in the scum that jumps away from the stream that bubbles in the waterfall rock. Or standing on the top of a rock, like a stone virgin. Her linen cap to the winds let go off, her plaits she neglects that the winds extend. The tips of her scarf seems the wings of an angel. I think, poor me!, that they are calling me if I see them bustling in the green arbour. But, oh!, my eyes, traitors, are cheating me, since I go, and, light, in the fog she hides; other times she hides in the shade of the pines and sings, hidden, sweet songs that scorch, that hurt, the wound of love I have in my heart. How nice, how beautiful, how fresh, how white, did God make the girl of the green mountain!
- 2. How beautiful she looks, may she cry or whine; sing, smile, awake, asleep! Oh, if her father gave her as a present to me! Oh, I would never feel any sorrow again! Oh!, if I could have her with me as a maid, I'd buy clothes for her, I'd buy shoes for her.
